Global Cabling were contracted to complete the communications cabling, including CCTV cabling, at the Multistory Mineral Resources fit out in Osborne Park.
We are installed a cat6a Shielded Panduit system across 12 floors, over 3600 outlets.
The majority of cabling was installed to a consolidation point, and then cabled from here to workstations. Each floor was cabled via the floor below, to avoid having any cable poles or umbilicals. Cabling was installed to a variety of final locations – with both workstations, general office outlets and ceiling outlets for wireless points and CCTV.
Global have faced many challenges. Lead times of gear have been an issue, with items being made to order in Mexico.
